Introduction
|
Eulalia
Sosa Acevedo I have been a member of staff at the University of
La Laguna since I completed my degree in English philology in the year 1989.
In 2001, I finished my Ph.D. Dissertation about “A functional-cognitive
analysis of locative prefixation in English”. Since
2005, I have participated in the research projects led by Professor Cortés Rodríguez (see Projects). I also conducted a one-year
project funded by the University of Laguna in 2004 (Ref. 1802640402). My research has been focused on word-formation,
lexical structure, lexical-grammatical processes within functional and
cognitive models, and diachronic lexicology. I am currently working on lexical and
constructional analysis in English and Spanish. |
